Crafty Updates! ... Or Goals That I Need To Get Accomplished Before I Scream! Just wanted to give a little update from over here in my corner of the world! I have been working on some wearable art for your hair... in the form of hair combs, barrettes and bobby pins! They are for sale right now at my friend Kate's barber shop, we will see how they do there! I was recently contacted by a local art gallery asking if I would like to consign some of my embroidery pieces there! Even though it's almost March now, I thought I would do an update on my plans for this year, and also an update on how I feel last year ended. Hey, better late than never, right? Ok, so just an update about last year: I met my goal of getting into some indie art craft shows! I am really lucky to be in an area that is close to some awesome artists, and the chance to get to participate in shows with a bunch of them is such an exciting experience. Getting to meet and talk with these artists in person is so fun and inspirational, and so is getting to talk with people who are excited to see my stuff! I think that has to be one of the best feeling

I really feel like I have been exploding with ideas lately, and I can't hold it all in! I have some big goals for this year, and I hope I can accomplish them. I know I will try my hardest at the very least. My major goal artistically is to expand my needlepoint prowess. I love cross stitching because of the math and the order of it all. But I want to start moving into embroidery and creating more lifelike pieces. So we shall see how that goes. I am so happy to be able to share my work on here, I look forward to showing you guys what I create and I anxiously await feedback on what you think of it. I can take tough critiques given with love,
